Left Germany: Want to terminate my contract.

Hello & I apologise for message in English.

I'm finding it difficult to cancel my contracts for phone and WiFi as I have left Germany permanently for urgent family matters.

Can I cancel phone and WiFi at same time? (considering 3 month notice)

Please inform me how I begin my cancellation. I tried sending a form I found on here but had no confirmation email.

Thanks in advance,

James Gibson

Please enter the customer number (Kundennummer) and callback number (Rückrufnummer) in your profile,  so that a Teamy can call you back.

Hi Aluni and thanks for your response.
I've updated my profile now with my customer number and contact phone number for someone to call me as soon as possible (I understand it's Christmas).
      Thank you,
      James

      Hi @James1981,

the landline (DSL) contract is cancelled to February 22nd, 2019. This is sooner than it normally should be: it's always three months until the end of the month, and the cancellation gut to us at December 4th.

I think you didn't get the confirmation, because it was sent to your old address in Germany. I'll write you a private message to ensure that I'll send the cornfirmation to the correct email address.

      Best regards, Inga Kristina J.

You should be able to cancel all fixed and mobile services with three months notice according to this page. If you already sent in the forms and required document as proof that you are leaving Germany, it is probably best if Telekom support staff have a look at your file. For this you need to enter your customer ID and a phone number they can call you back on here. The information is only visible for Telekom staff, not for regular users for the forum.
