Speedport Smart 3 an Kabelanschluss (Koaxial) anschließen

Hallo,

 

wir ziehen bald in eine neue Wohnung und bisher waren unsere Speedport Router an einem Telefonaschluss über ein Adapterkabel im DSL Anschluss des Routers verbunden.

In der neuen Wohnung wurde uns jedoch eklärt, dass der alte Mieter so einen Kabelanschluss für Internet verwendet hat.

Dieser hatte den Anbieter Unitymedia und bei den Boxen dort kann man wohl so ein Koaxialkabel anschließen.

Wir haben jetzt den Speedport Smart 3 und da stellt sich uns natürlich die Frage, wie wir diesen mit dem Anschluss verbinden.

Es befindet sich noch ein Telefonanschluss in einem aber ungünstigen Raum dafür, daher die Frage wegen des Kabelanschlusses.

Im Anhang ist ein Bild von diesem Anschluss. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit diesen mit dem Smart 3 zu nutzen? Oder müssen wir den Telefonanschluss in dem anderen Raum nutzen?

    @ymicky Ihr müsst den Telefonanschluss im anderen Raum nutzen. Alternativ kann man auch die Telefondose kostenpflichtig verlegen lassen.

    Am Kabelanschluss funktioniert der Smart 3 nicht.

    Der muss an den Telefonanschluss ( TAE )

    Hi @ymicky ,

     

    der Speedport Smart 3 (und ich denke kein anderer Speedport) ist für den Anschluß an Kabel (Coax) nicht geeignet. Das können bei den Fritzboxen auch nur wenige Modelle. Die Telekom versorgt auch bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen keine Anschlüsse mit Kabel (Coax). Das bekommst du nur von Unitymedia und Co.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
