Speedport Smart 3 Installation

Hello.

I got my Speedport Smart 3 and while reading the instructions, I noticed that I need to have a telephone outlet in my room. The problem is that I rent the room and I don't have a telephone outlet. The appointment for the technician is tomorrow. Will the outlet be installed by the technician? If not, should I cancel the appointment? Is it impossible to have a connection without a network cable and DSL cable?

    @tmrbbzd in der Regel macht das der Techniker, bei viel Aufwand und wenn kein Provesorium möglich ist wird das morgen nichts werden. Lass den Techniker kommen und der soll sich das ansehen.

    Great, thank you! One more thing. On the appointment page, it says "Please ensure access to your house connection". What does that mean? I saw the example pictures for the house connection, but I don't know if I have one.

    If the answers matches the policies of Telekom, I have one additional concern. As I rent the room in garden house and my name isn’t written on the doorbell, I can’t get notified if the technician comes to the front house. Is it possible to get a call if no one answers the door?

    there is a way to get this information to the technician.
