Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.
It uses an identifier created by your telecom operator based on your IP address and a telecom reference such as your telecom account (e.g., mobile number).
The identifier is assigned to the internet connection, so anyone connecting their device and consenting to the Utiq technology will receive the same identifier. Typically:

Ersetzt werden muss der W724V durch einen anderen Router, wenn der W724V defekt ist oder wenn er gemietet ist und entweder Du oder die Telekom den Mietvertrag gekündigt hat.
Bis einschließlich MagentaZuhause L kann der W724V verwendet werden. Aber der kommt schon so langsam in die Jahre, und wenn Du Probleme mit dem Anschluss hast, dann kann es sein, dass es am W724V liegt.
Dann allerdings muss er KEINESFALLS durch eine Digibox ersetzt werden. Das ist dann nur eine Option.

Mich würde mal interessieren, was der (scheinbare) Telekom-Mitarbeiter noch so am Telefon gesagt hat?
Nach meiner Einschätzung wird kein anderer Router empfohlen, wenn der Anschluß problemlos läuft, kein Tarifwechsel angedacht ist oder sonstige Probleme zutreffen.
Also irgendwas ist hier faul.
Da fehlt es noch an Informationen.

Einen ähnlichen Fall gab es dieser Tage bereits.
Man muss auch wissen, dass die Digibox als Mietgerät u.U. gleich mal einen Dreijahres-Mietvertrag bedeutet.
Im Privatkundenbereich geht so etwas gar nicht.

Man muss auch wissen, dass die Digibox als Mietgerät u.U. gleich mal einen Dreijahres-Mietvertrag bedeutet.
Im Privatkundenbereich geht so etwas gar nicht.

wenn der Router funktioniert, musst du nicht auf eine Digibox wechseln. Auch so steht dir frei, welcher Router es nach dem Speedport W724V werden soll.
