Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.
It uses an identifier created by your telecom operator based on your IP address and a telecom reference such as your telecom account (e.g., mobile number).

Wahrscheinlich gar nicht. Eine typische mind. 250 GB große Sicherungsdatei willst Du nicht wirklich regelmäßig hoch und runterladen.
Besser: Software wie Acronis und separat verstautes ext. Laufwerk.

Allein eine komprimierte WindowsInstallation ist > 40 GB
Oder meist Du nur die echten Daten aus Deinem UserAccount?
Die kannst Du natürlich wie bei OneDrive in die Cloud synchronisieren.

Aber ich würde eher einen USB Stick empfehlen.
USB-Stick? Dann doch lieber auf einer Festplatte.
USB-Sticks gehen zu schnell kaputt. Gerade die ollen Billigdinger.
Ich erstelle sogar noch regelmäßig ISO-Images als Datensicherung und brenne sie zusätzlich auf einen DVD-Rohling.
Das mache ich aber nur bei wirklich wichtigen Daten, wie Software-Programme usw.

nur ca. 5 GB
Hallo,
das kann dann aber keine „Gesamtsicherung“ sein – auf meinem Rechner ist allein das Windows-Verzeichnis knapp 27 GB groß (Windows 11, aber das nimmt sich nicht viel mit 10).
Würde aus Performance-Gründen ebenfalls zu einer lokalen Sicherung raten. Als Software kann ich die Community Edition von Paragon Backup & Recovery Backup & Recovery Community Edition | Paragon Software Group (paragon-software.com) wärmstens empfehlen. Kostenlos für den Privatgebrauch.
