Old phone number porting issue into telekom from premiumsim

Hi eveyone,

Good day. I am in a situation and need your valuable suggesations.

I have ordered a Magenta M prepaid contract with old number porting from PremiumSim to Telekom.

I have already opted-in for number porting from PremiumSim, and also have marked my contract for cancellation with a date, 15.09.2025. And PremiumSim told me that number will not be usable any more after that date.

Now, received a message from Telekom that, there is some issue with the porting and have asked me to update a date when the number will be released from PremiumSim, if I have any date. So I replied the message with the date.

Now I am afraid, don't know when Telekom will try to port, and for some reason if it failed, I will lose my number. And I cannot afford that, that number is everywhere from my work to banks to social media everywhere.

Please suggest me, if I need to do something timely to prevent any mishape.

      Thank you very much for your message and for your patience. I have good news for you! We were able to agree on a porting date with your previous provider. Your old provider will continue to serve you until September 22nd. After that, we will release your number.

      You will receive your SIM card by mail in the coming days. So everything is all set, and you can relax and enjoy your weekend! :-)
