Why am I being charged?

I moved back to the States and had canceled my plan over a month ago. I was told that my last bill will be Oct 1st, but I am being charged 284.19 and 171.25 this month. These seem to be outrageous bills and I'm getting no answers as to why I'm being charged this.

Have you submitted all the documents?
Were smartphones included in the contract?
Because these also have to be paid for.
How old were the contracts?

I had two cell phone lines one for me and my fiance.
I haven't received any emails regarding the bills hence why I am posting this.
I submitted the documents in the store on Raimstein base. They looked it over and confirmed that my last bill would be Oct 1st. I had issues with this earlier from them shutting off one of my lines a month earlier than the confirmed cancelation date and had to revisit the store to re-confirm my bills and cancelation date.
