Help in identifying the APL box

I am new to Germany and moved to a flat without DSL connection. I ordered for a contract and the technician comes next week. I have trouble finding the APL connection in the house. Neither landlord or caretaker has no clue. This is the best thing which we can find, using the pictures we found in internet. Is the small grey color box with the thick black cable the APL box? Any help would be appreciated.
Ich bin neu in Deutschland und in eine Wohnung ohne DSL-Anschluss gezogen. Ich habe einen Vertrag bestellt und der Techniker kommt nächste Woche. Ich habe Probleme, die APL -Verbindung im Haus zu finden. Weder Vermieter noch Hausmeister haben keine Ahnung. Dies ist das Beste, was wir finden können, anhand der Bilder, die wir im Internet gefunden haben. Ist die kleine graue Farbbox mit dem dicken schwarzen Kabel die APL -Box? Jede Hilfe wäre dankbar.

@lejuppEs ist eine gemeinsame Hauszuführung vom Apl und HÜP, auf der UP Abdeckung ist auch noch Post zu zu erkennen. Dürfte Ein EVz von 1960 - 1970 sein.
