Optimizing the Cloud PBX website through eye tracking and mouse data

On July 3rd 2019, Telekom invited to Bonn for "customer café". Together with our startup EYEVIDO, Telekom customers were asked for feedback and input on current products and developments.
A total of 5 customers each took 20 minutes to reveal new insights into the customer experience on the existing Cloud PBX website in a question and answer game.
The corporate business UX team deployed our startup's EYEVIDO lab on July 3rd to streamline the Cloud PBX website, the cloud-based phone analytics website. For this purpose, the behavior of the customers on the website was analyzed using eye tracking and mouse data. In addition, detailed feedback was collected with an integrated questionnaire.

Thanks to EYEVIDO, the employees of Telekom were able to concentrate on the essentials and thus on the 5 customers. The EYEVIDO Lab automatically guided the five "subjects" through the study, recording any interaction with the website being tested. Only with questions or problems, the staff were required. This meant that all five sessions could be conducted in a concentrated and comparable manner within the given time.
The conclusion of the usability experts: EYEVIDO Lab enabled the efficient, uncomplicated evaluation of the data in the EYEVIDO web portal. The evening was completed with many new insights and concrete action areas for improving the Cloud PBX website.
