Replace Fritz box with Vigor

Hi there, Ik hope that you also speak english because my german is not so good.

 

I would like to replace my fritz box with my Draytek Vigor but we cannot get internet on the draytek.

 

I am using these setting

VPI = 1

VCI = 32

PPPoE

MTU = 1492

Username = feste-ip9/************@t-online-com.de

 

It seems like the Vigor won't dial any number

please help!

      I think the Username is wrong if you dont use a special Business Connection. What kind of Telekom Contract do you have? Magenta Zuhause or Call & Surf Comfort?

       

      Here is a german Solution for T-online Customers http://www.draytek.de/einrichtung-internet-mit-t-online.html

       

      Maybe your Username is wrong. When you are a private Telekom customer, please try to change the Username in AAAAAAAZZZZZZZZMMM@t-online.de

       

      A = Anschlusskennung

      Z = Zugansgnummer formerly T-Online-Nummer

      M = Mitbenutzernummer

      Thanks for the response

       

      In the Vigor we use the same info as in the Fritz Box so that should work right?

      (see screenshot)

      With the FB it works fine.

      Hi,

       

      when this works with your FB , i think you use a Telekom Business Contract with a static ip adress..

       

      Then i can't help you, sorry. Maybe other users of this Community will have any ideas or you contact the Service Line Number in the Posting from @Waage1969

      are you hook up to the net again? Our users @Waage1969 and @MiamiManfred did an excellent job. If things aren't going your way, give us a hint and post us some more details:

      • type of DrayTek Vigor
      • your account plan according to your confirmation
      • ADSL or VDSL

      Hello @p.goedhart,

      I took this task from my colleague Johannes S.

      To use the DrayTek Vigor 2960 at your interface you need an additional Modem.
      Have you connected an additional modem or a FritzBox with included modem?

      Your credentials seem to be correct. You are using a Business DSL Connection at the moment.

      Hello @p.goedhart,

      yes, setup your fritzbox so that it is only a bridge. And install the Draytek Router behind the Fritzbox.
