Terms of Use Telekom helps community
Telekom Deutschland GmbH (hereinafter “Telekom”) operates the Telekom helps community for the purpose of supporting people who have questions and/or feedback about products and services from the Telekom portfolio and/or who discuss these topics with other people want to exchange.
1. Membership
Membership in the Telekom helps community is free.
Anyone who has reached the age of 18 can become a member. Membership is not transferable. Only one membership is permitted per person.
Membership begins with registration of the access data you have chosen in accordance with Section 1 of the Data Protection Information.
Telekom reserves the right to temporarily restrict the Telekom helps community through maintenance work and further developments. Telekom strives to keep this as low as possible.
2. Username
You can freely choose your username. However, the user name you choose must not violate applicable German law, the rights of third parties, these terms of use or common decency and must not already be used by another member. As the owner of the username, you are responsible for all content that is distributed under your username in accordance with Section 4 of these Terms of Use.
3. User image
As a user picture you may:

2. Do not use any image that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right;
3. Do not use vulgar or offensive user images as these may hurt the feelings of many members.
4. Do not use user images that have criminal content and/or could lead to criminal acts, in particular racist, pornographic, obscene, offensive, vulgar, violence-glorifying or trivializing, and immoral user images.
If you know or have reasonable suspicion that your user name or password has been misused, Telekom may take the necessary measures and, in particular, block your membership or access to the Telekom Helps Community - if possible, partially and temporarily, and in the case of significant and/or permanent misuse, also completely and permanently or close.
4. Posting content
As a Telekom helps community member, you have various options for participating in the community and posting content such as texts and images.
It should be noted that posting the following content on the platform is not permitted:
1. Content that may violate the right to informational self-determination of third parties;
2. Copied content to which you do not have rights;
3. Private data, such as telephone number or email address outside of the profile, but also images that show such data (images of router data, etc.)
4. Illegal content, such as calls for or instructions for crimes, statements that are harmful to minors, violations of personal rights or copyright violations
5. Insults, personal attacks or degrading statements
6. inflammatory, racist, obscene, discriminatory or pornographic content
7. false, fraudulent, misleading or otherwise dubious content that does not conform to an open and fair dialogue
8. Spam content of any kind
9. Content that is associated with malware or other impairment of this platform
10. Internal company information of Telekom Deutschland or its subsidiaries
11. Commercial or private offering of goods and services or the use of our platform as advertising space for websites and services.
If we nevertheless find posts with such content, we reserve the right to delete them in the interest of the community. We also reserve the right to block and delete users in the event of multiple violations of the posting of prohibited content.
5. Effectiveness and scope of netiquette
We would like to have an open and constructive exchange in a friendly and objective tone on all topics from the world of telecommunications. We view netiquette as the basis of our interaction.

6. Private messages function
Telekom helps Community enables the sending of private messages between community members.
Each community member can freely decide whether they want to send and receive private messages: The function can be activated or deactivated individually in the settings of the personal community profile. The contents of private messages are generally only visible to the community team if a community member reports a private message as abusive.
For data protection and data security reasons, please refrain from exchanging personal data (e.g. real name, customer number, address) in private messages - as well as in the entire community.
Our netiquette also applies to private messages. This means in particular that private messages may not be used for advertising purposes or disputes/defamation with other community members or for posting prohibited content. Likewise, publishing the contents of private messages is not permitted without the express permission of the sender. In the event of violations, we reserve the right to block or delete the relevant community member.
7. Questions, ideas and answers
As a Telekom helps community member, you are entitled to ask questions, communicate and share feedback and ideas, and write answers (hereinafter: posts).
The following regulations apply to your opinions and reviews:
1. The contributions must be related to the purpose of the Telekom Helps Community;
2. Contributions must correspond to the facts;
3. Contributions must be factual and accurate;
4. Negative contributions are permitted, but must be expressed objectively;
5. No derogatory tags may be used;
6. Rumors, hearsay content or unconfirmed statements from other people should be avoided
Telekom is entitled to block contributions if there is reasonable suspicion that legal provisions or these terms of use have been violated. Telekom reserves the right to check contributions and delete them if necessary.
Telekom is entitled to weight the contributions of Telekom helps community members according to criteria. For example, Telekom is entitled to give more weight to contributions from members who post a lot of reviews than to contributions from members who post fewer contributions. The same applies to reviews from members who are rated positively by other Telekom helps community members. Telekom is entitled to display the resulting rankings on the platform.
In addition, Telekom is entitled to contact members of the Telekom helps community. The sole purpose of the contact is to gain a better understanding of the problems that are presented on the basis of a posted post, so that we can ultimately provide targeted and solution-oriented support. Only the contact details stored in the Telekom Helps Community will be used to contact you. Contact is always contribution-related.
8. Telekom usage rights
1. By posting content (contributions), you grant Telekom the right to use the content for an unlimited period of time.
2. Feedback and suggestions about our products and services are shared for internal review.
3. While respecting the moral rights and your personal rights, Telekom is particularly entitled to reproduce, distribute, make publicly accessible and make available on demand (online, access, etc.) your contributions and the profile photo as part of the Telekom helps community service Right to transfer), to use it to improve services (Art. 6 Paragraph 4 GDPR), as well as to archive and record it in databases.
4. If Telekom takes up or implements a suggestion, this does not give rise to any entitlement to remuneration or remuneration of any kind.
5. You assure that you have all rights to the content and photos you have transferred, and in particular that you are entitled to transfer the rights listed above to Telekom. You undertake to only post content whose people you see there are of legal age and if they have consented to the upload.
6. There is no right to publication of the content and photos you have transmitted. Telekom decides on publication at its own editorial discretion. Telekom is not obliged to name the photographer for photos.
9. General Terms of Use
1. You undertake to Telekom that you will lawfully use the Telekom Helps Community offering. This means that you may only use the Telekom Helps Community in a way or for purposes that do not violate these terms of use or applicable German law or infringe the rights of third parties.
2. If you allow another person, especially minors, to use your Telekom Helps Community access, your duty of care is to refer to the terms of use and membership rules and to exercise appropriate control.
3. If you or a third party using your username culpably violates these Terms of Use or applicable law, Telekom may take the necessary measures. Serious violations can result in the complete blocking of your access to the Telekom Helps Community or the immediate termination of your Telekom Helps Community membership.
4. If there is a suspicion of a violation of criminal or public law regulations, Telekom is entitled to support law enforcement and regulatory authorities in their investigations to the extent permitted by law, without checking the legality of such investigations or requests for information.
10. Ending or canceling your Telekom community membership helps
You are entitled to terminate your Telekom Helps Community membership at any time without notice.
Telekom is entitled to terminate your Telekom Helps Community membership at any time.
Telekom has the right to terminate your Telekom Helps Community membership without notice if you culpably violate these terms of use. If Telekom has terminated your membership without notice due to a violation of these terms of use, you can only register again for the Telekom Helps Community with the express consent of Telekom.
Telekom reserves the right to keep content that you as a user have made public (e.g. posts, events, comments, etc.) still publicly available after the user account has been deleted. This is done without specifying the user name and with a note that the user has since been deleted. This only affects content that you as a user did not remove yourself before deleting your user account.
Your right to terminate your Telekom helps community membership for good cause is unaffected by these terms of use.
11. Responsibility for content
Responsibility for content lies exclusively with the corresponding member who posted this content in the Telekom Helps Community, not with Telekom. However, if Telekom becomes aware that third-party content violates these terms of use, Telekom will react appropriately in accordance with the terms of use.
If there is only suspicion of a violation of the terms of use, Telekom is not liable for failure to take action unless the violation can be proven.
12. Carrying out raffles/competitions
Telekom is entitled to carry out irregular raffles among the members of the Telekom helps community. The raffles/competitions can be aimed at all members or selected groups of members.
Non-cash or cash rewards are possible. Cash withdrawal of winnings is not possible. The winners will be determined by lottery and notified in writing. The right to win expires after three months if the winner cannot be identified or if the winner does not contact the competition organizer within three months of the announcement of the prize. All personal data (customer data/contractual partners) submitted as part of the competition will be treated as strictly confidential. The address data necessary for processing is stored by Telekom Deutschland GmbH. Legal recourse is excluded. Employees of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and affiliated companies as well as their relatives are excluded from the competition.
In addition, Telekom can hold competitions with special conditions of participation, which participants must agree to in advance.
The organizer of the competition is Telekom Deutschland GmbH. Anyone aged 18 or over is eligible to take part. Employees of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and affiliated companies in accordance with Sections 15 ff AktG are excluded from participation. Each participant can only take part once. A cash payout of the winnings is not possible, not even partially. The winners are determined by lottery and informed via community contribution (so-called mentioning). The right to win expires after three months if the winner cannot be identified or if the winner does not contact the competition organizer within three months of the prize being announced and provide their postal address. All personal data (customer data/contractual partners) submitted as part of the competition will be treated as strictly confidential. The address data necessary for processing will be stored by Telekom Deutschland GmbH and used exclusively to process this competition. Legal recourse is excluded.
13. Final provisions
Telekom is entitled to change less important provisions of these terms of use at any time and without giving reasons, provided that this change does not lead to a redesign of the service as a whole and provided that the changes are reasonable for you, taking Telekom's interests into account, e.g. B. when changing contact information, adding additional services or similar.
Furthermore, Telekom will inform you before any changes to these terms of use in one of the following ways: The changed terms of use will be made available to you on the homepage or via message before the activation of new functions or services. Your consent to changes is deemed to have been given if you have not objected within 6 weeks of notification. Telekom will specifically point out the possibility of objection and the importance of the six-week period in the notification letter on the website. In the event of an objection, Telekom reserves the right to block and thereby suspend your user account.
