5G extender not recognised by my Speedport
5 months ago
Hi team, Unfortunately, my German is not so good and would great appreciate speaking with an English speaker. My issue is that my 5G extender from Hybrid internet is not being recognised on my speedport. I have tried different cables, reset and nothing works. Even tried plugging my PC straight to the 5G modem. As you can see from the screenshots, it does not show at all. Could someone please help me? Thank you.

**UPDATE**
The issue is related to the 100m cable to power the 5G . I will be able to order a new one, however, could you tell me where i can send the invoice to so i can be refunded for the cable?
Thanks!!

Hey there @Fredo18,
thank you for the pleasant conversation! As previously mentioned, please let us know, if the performance increases with the new cable and the new transmitter!
Kind regards

The 5G receiver does not come with a 100m cable. The cable supplied is 10m long. And you can't buy just any cable for it, because the plug on the original cable is shortened on the side that plugs into the 5G receiver. A normal plug therefore does not fit into the housing, because then the splash guard cover cannot be screwed on and the 5G receiver can no longer be sealed watertight. If you need a new cable, you can either order it via the hotline 08003301000 or a team member here can help you. Invoice amounts for privately purchased accessories will not be refunded.
