Betrügerische Hinzufügung von Computerhilfe M

Hello,

I have a contract for Magneta Zuhause M from Deutsche Telecom ( Kundennummer: editiert). I have applied this through check24.de. But, along with that, Deutsche Telecom has also subscribed to the Computerhilfe M, which I never signed up for. When I first initially saw the bill, I thought there might be a mistake and I went to the Telecom shop in Bremen in the month of September. They told they will try to cancel the contract and took all my details. Unfortunately, next month again I got the bill for Computerhilfe M. Once more I went to that shop and they told me to write a letter and send it to the Deutsche Telecom head office, which did in the month of the end of October. I did not hear anything back from Deutsche Telecom, and again they had charged for the service which I didn't subscribed. Frustrated, I called the customer service and since I’m an expat, my German is not that good, I could not convey my problem to the person on the other side. So I took the help of my boss to call again after a few days and finally could convey my problem. Here is the thing, I am currently working here in Germany and to get hold of the customer service executive, sometimes we had to wait for hours during the working hours, which is unreasonable.
After we explained the issue, the executive told us that, when one applies for the new contract, the Deutsche Telecom sends the Computerhilfe M along with the applied contract, which was not mentioned anywhere. And here comes the worst part: if one doesn’t reply back in 15 days saying that Computerhilfe M is not needed, the service will be automatically added. I have been reading many posts here in the forum, and most of them have the same exact problem. As an expat with little German knowledge, this has become a big hurdle for me, and since I didn't reply to them back not to add the Computerhilfe M, it is now been added without my consent.

And here is another worst part, while we (my boss was taking on behalf of me in German)were trying to cancel the Computerhilfe M with the customer care executive, they told us that they cannot cancel the plan for two years. But after some time, they proposed a new contract called Magenta Zuhause M with Magenta TV which would cost 4.9 euros more, and if I could opt for that, they would be happy to cancel the Computerhilfe M. I just felt like they were trying to extract more money. We thought the new contract will remove the Computerhilfe M and replace with Magenta TV, and thereby saving 5 euros than the present rate and agreed to it. But when they mailed the contact, it netto was 37.77 euros initially which is a lot more than what i am currently paying and then after 12 months 41.97 euros netto, which was not what we were expecting. Again we called immediately and canceled the proposed contract. And for reason, we got the same contract again for the second time, and again we had to call and cancel it.

At this point, I’m so frustrated and I have run out of options what to do. I am an electronics and telecommunications engineer, I setup network infrastructure in big companies and why on earth would I be needing help from Deutsche Telecom to help me solve WLAN and printer problems in my home?? Is it because I’m an expat here and not knowing German is the reason that I cannot convey my cancellation request or is this happening to everybody out there??  I want the Deteuche Telecom to cancel the Computerhilfe M immediately and provide the full refund from the beginning of my contract. I wait for the response.

Ich ging noch einmal zu diesem Laden und sie sagten mir, ich solle einen Brief schreiben und an die Zentrale der Deutschen Telekom schicken, was Ende Oktober auch geschah. Ich habe nichts von der Deutschen Telekom gehört, und wieder hatten sie mir den Dienst, den ich nicht abonniert hatte, in Rechnung gestellt. Frustriert rief ich den Kundenservice an und da ich ein Expat bin und mein Deutsch nicht so gut ist, konnte ich mein Problem nicht an die Person auf der anderen Seite weiterleiten. Also nahm ich die Hilfe meines Chefs in Anspruch, um nach ein paar Tagen wieder anzurufen und konnte mein Problem endlich vermitteln. Die Sache ist die, ich arbeite derzeit hier in Deutschland und um den Kundenbetreuer zu erreichen, mussten wir manchmal stundenlang während der Arbeitszeit warten, was unzumutbar ist.
Nachdem wir das Problem erklärt hatten, erzählte uns der Vorstand, dass die Deutsche Telekom bei der Beantragung des neuen Vertrages die Computerhilfe M zusammen mit dem beantragten Vertrag schickt, was nirgendwo erwähnt wurde. Und hier kommt das Schlimmste: Wenn man innerhalb von 15 Tagen nicht zurückschreibt, dass die Computerhilfe M nicht benötigt wird, wird der Dienst automatisch hinzugefügt. Ich habe viele Beiträge hier im Forum gelesen, und die meisten haben genau das gleiche Problem. Als Expat mit geringen Deutschkenntnissen ist dies für mich zu einer großen Hürde geworden, und da ich nicht zurückgeschrieben habe, dass ich die Computerhilfe M nicht mehr benötige, ist sie nun ohne meine Zustimmung hinzugefügt worden.

Und hier ist ein weiterer schlimmer Teil, während wir (mein Chef nahm für mich in Deutsch) versuchten, die Computerhilfe M mit dem Kundenbetreuer zu kündigen, sagten sie uns, dass sie den Plan für zwei Jahre nicht kündigen können. Aber nach einiger Zeit schlugen sie einen neuen Vertrag namens Magenta Zuhause M mit Magenta TV vor, der 4,9 Euro mehr kosten würde, und wenn ich mich dafür entscheiden könnte, würden sie die Computerhilfe M gerne kündigen. Wir dachten, dass der neue Vertrag die Computerhilfe M entfernen und durch Magenta TV ersetzen würde, und so 5 Euro gegenüber dem jetzigen Tarif sparen würde und stimmten dem zu. Aber als sie den Kontakt verschickten, waren es netto 37,77 Euro, was viel mehr ist als das, was ich momentan zahle, und dann nach 12 Monaten 41,97 Euro netto, was nicht das war, was wir erwartet hatten. Auch hier haben wir sofort angerufen und den vorgeschlagenen Vertrag gekündigt. Und aus gutem Grund bekamen wir den gleichen Vertrag zum zweiten Mal, und wieder mussten wir anrufen und kündigen.

An diesem Punkt bin ich so frustriert und mir gehen die Möglichkeiten aus, was zu tun ist. Ich bin Elektronik- und Telekommunikationsingenieur, ich richte die Netzwerkinfrastruktur in großen Unternehmen ein und warum in aller Welt brauche ich Hilfe von der Deutschen Telekom, um WLAN- und Druckerprobleme in meinem Haus zu lösen? Liegt es daran, dass ich als Expat hier bin und keine Deutschkenntnisse habe, dass ich meinen Kündigungswunsch nicht übermitteln kann oder passiert das jedem da draußen?  Ich möchte, dass die Deteuche Telecom die Computerhilfe M sofort kündigt und mir den vollen Betrag ab Vertragsbeginn zurückerstattet. Ich warte auf die Antwort.

      Das muss sich jemand vom @Telekom hilft Team anschauen, deshalb hinterlege bitte deine Kunden- und Rückrufnummer im Profil und antworte im Anschluss auf diesen Beitrag.

      It is under no circumstances standard that a MagentaZuhause M contract automatically comes along with the Computerhilfe M.

      At least not if you sign the contract directly with Deutsche Telekom. If you go via check24 I do not know/cannot comment.

       

      What on the other hand is "normal": if you change the tariff fom initial "MagentaZuhause M" to "MagentaZuhause M MagentaTV" then you fall into the standard tariff regime, and loose the new customer early months reduction of "MagentaZuhause M". Also a new 24 month contract period starts from that time.

      The "Normal" that you have explained here was not told to us clearly to us on the call. They told that new tarrif would be lesser than the current contract price but it was the case, it was higher. So it was "not normal" when I received the contract in my email stating that I have to pay more! And I replied immediately not to activate the "MagentaZuhause M MagentaTV" and stay with my old contract.

      I have applied only for "MagentaZuhause M" through check24. I have email proof for the same. I am not saying Computerhilfe M has been added by purpose by Deutsche Telecom, but for sure I did not sign up for that. It might be a mistake by the system and I want it be corrected.

      And if some customer executive is calling, please I request if someone who can speak English be on the line. Thank you.

Es könnte ein Fehler des Systems sein und ich möchte, dass er korrigiert wird.

      Und falls ein Kundenbetreuer anruft, bitte ich darum, dass jemand, der Englisch spricht, in der Leitung ist. Ich danke Ihnen.

      The explanation is typically only based on nominal fee level - not even sure whether hotline people can easily see that you still have new client conditions.

      I guess that you were in contact with the hotline with respect to a problem that was not related to the pure DSL line.

      Such hotline issue tends to be outside of the free support regime. As you cannot speak German and quite some hotline people do not speak English (maybe they could from what they learned at school, but they are not trained on that for business purposes) it would not be a big surprise to me that in the frame of that Computerhilfe M came up, one way or the other. Otherwise they possibly would have charged you a one-time fee. But it is a personal guess...

      I hope that they will find s.b. - but I would not count on it. Best chances are from Telekom Teamies here in the forum.

       

      How are my chances if going to your home country that I get a German speaking operator from the local ISP ?

      Thanks for your input and I too hope that some officials from Telecom can look into this. And to answer your last question, although you sound like you have taken this personally, I can say that finding a German speaker would be highly unlikely, but there is a 100 percent chance of finding an executive who can speak in English, although, English is not a native language in my home country. I requested this because I again don't want to have miscommunication. The main reason I decided to write in the forum is to convey my message clearly to Deutsche Telecom clearly.
