New customer - DSL line fault
2 years ago
Hello. I’m a new customer.
I have a problem with DSL connection. Technician visited my place last Saturday, checked the line and concluded it’s fine, I need only plug router to middle socket and it should work he said. I had no router at the moment, but when I got it two days later and plugged it in, unfortunately in diagnostic mode it shows no DSL line connection. Also when I specify internet access credentials there is no connection. I’ve checked cable, socket and physical connection, all seems fine.
Screen of Fritzbox 7390 diagnostic in attachment.
Need help. Hotline 0800 gives no options for English-speaking customer.

Hello and welcome to the Deutsche Telekom forum. What does your current cabling look like? At best, take pictures of how you connected the router. Are the cables of the FritzBox used ? Greetings

The gray end of Y cable has tag Splitter DSL. I changed black with gray, but nothing changed. Maybe I have wrong cable?

@Andy-4
Take a simple patch cable instead of the Y-cable

What your wallet (with direct purchase) allows
For the automatic setup of your connection better WLAN would be the Smart 4 interesting. For extensive comfort functions (roughly speaking), the 7590 (AX) would be your product. I myself can operate both sides and currently I am better positioned with the Smart 4, as with the 7590 (without WLAN6 / AX). Instead of the 7490 then rather the 7590, because of the future updates.
