speed home wifi verbindet sich nicht mit Speedport W T723 V

Hallo, ich versuche speed home wifi mit dem Speedport W T723 V Typ b zu verbinden. Es klappt weder kabellos noch mit Kabel. Nach einer Weile leuchtet "Status" dauerhaft und "Signal" blinkt. Ich frage mich langsam, ob mein Speedport-Modell einfach zu alt ist.
