Need to cancel contract as device is lost and cannot be returned

We terminated our main contract over a year ago but the Digitalisierungsbox Smart 2 rental remained active. The device was lost during an office move and cannot be returned. Please cancel the rental contract immediately and bill us the residual value (Schadenersatz) so we can close this account

I have processed the cancellation along with the calculation of the residual value.
The amount will be shown and deducted in the next invoice.
