Dear Community, 

My employer has asked me to take up an assignment overseas from 1st Feb 2021. The duration of assignment would be for 6 to 8 months. I'm on a contract with Telekom now, But I would like to switch to the prepaid 5G annual tariff with my current phone number. My goal is of course that the phone number is retained so that I can use the same when I'm back in Germany after my assignment overseas. 

I have 2 months left ( Dec & Jan ) before I travel overseas, what are my options here ? 

I'm ready to serve the 3 months mandatory notice period, can I get the contract converted to prepaid at the end of this 3 months notice period ? Where do I place the request for this ?  

I would appreciate if a English speaking Telekom Help agent can look into my request and help me out.
