I want to cancel my prepaid contract and port my number to another provider

Hello Telkom Team,

I want to cancel my prepaid contract and would like to port my number to another provider. As I am not a German speaker, I cannot reach out on the helpline. Please help me with this.

      Hi @Isha ,

      welcome to the Telekom hilft Community!

       

      Typically your new provider should take care of "all" needed steps. Have you asked there already whether they can port your number from Telekom?

      Hi @Coole Katze , yes I did ask them. They said that Telekom rejected the request to Port the number. And we have to contact Telekom ourself to get this done Traurig

      Hello @Isha ,

       

      thanks for texting us. @Coole Katze  already gave some good advice. 

       

      Unfortunately, I couldn't reach you by phone a few minutes ago.

       

      But nevertheless I have some steps you can take to cancel your prepaid plan.

      Click here. There you find the form for cancellation and remaining balance payout.

       

      Moreover it is possible to mark a Opt-In so your number can be ported directly to your new mobile partner just before the cancellation etc. has been done. If it isn't that urgent, this step isn't necessary. When the cancellation confirmation reaches you, you can give this information with the date of cancellation to your new partner, so they do the porting at the end of your prepaid plan from us.

       

      So now it's up to you. Is it that urgent for you? Than please send me a time frame when I can reach you by phone.

      I tried it also by phone but couldn't reach you.
