Release of prepaid mobile number for portability to other provider

Dear all,
I would like to know how to release my current mobile number on my prepaid contract with Telekom to move to another provider ?
Please note , i want use the same mobile number with my new provider.
Can you please help me with the process.
Are there any charges fro the same.

My New Provider had asked Telekom to release the number so taht they can proceed with the next steps.
Please note , i want to retain the same number.

The general rule is:
You can cancel your prepaid contract and request that your new provider port the number at the end of the term.
Alternatively, an optin can also be set.
Your provider then has 30 days to request the number. But in order to find out the current status of things, I have to talk to you in advance.

Hello @mathias61,
There are two options:
1. Number export at or after the end of the contract
It is possible to transfer your mobile phone number to another provider up to 90 calendar days after the end of your contract. As soon as you have received your confirmation of termination, you can request the number transfer from your new provider.
2. Number export from an existing contract
In this case, we need your prior consent to export your phone number from the current contract: the so-called opt-in. This is valid for 30 days and can be extended at any time. You can contact us if consent is needed.
As soon as this has been done, you can request the number portability from your new provider.
After the number export, your contract with Deutsche Telekom will continue to run with a new mobile phone number until the end of the contract.
