Speicherzeit für mails geändert, trotzdem gelöscht

Ich habe die Speicherzeit für die Mails im Papierkorb auf 30 Tage geändert, trotzdem werden alle nach 3 Tagen gelöscht. Gibt es dafür einen Grund? Oder darf nur eine bestimmte Anzahl an Mails in den Papierkorb?
