Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.
It uses an identifier created by your telecom operator based on your IP address and a telecom reference such as your telecom account (e.g., mobile number).

@carl21würde ich da nicht unbedingt zustimmen wollen.
Im Normalfall kommen heute im privaten Bereich zwei Verschlüsselungstechniken zur Anwendung. Zum einen derAES Modus , zum anderen der CCMP Modus.Z.B. verschlüsselt der Speedport in AES und viele Fritz im CCMP. Wenn die Modis nicht geändert oder angepasst (gleich gestellt) werden können, würde ich die Finger vom Repeater lassen, die nur CCMP Modus verschlüsseln.
Also: Vorher erkundigen ob der angeschaffte Repeater auch die AES Verschlüsselung beherrscht.
Könnte dir einen anderen Tip geben, der gut und günstig ist:
Besorge die einen Speedport W723v (ab ca.10 € in der Bucht) und betreibe diesen als Repeater.
Er hat die selbe Verschlüsselungstechnik und ist mit Abstand die bessere und billigere Alternative zu einem kommerziellen Repeater, zumal man auch noch (wenn man mag) die LAN Ports (wie bei einem Accesspoint) nutzen kann.
W723v im Repeater Betrieb: Anleitungen gibt es hier im Netz ausreichend. Einfach mal Google bemühen.

Ich habe meinen Speedport (900er Serie) jahrelang mit einem 300er Fritz!-Repeater problemlos betrieben. Bei einer Internetgeschwindigkeit von theor. 16 MBit hat die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit (theor. 54 MBit) trotz der Halbierung die mit einem Repeater eingergeht, immer gereicht. Bei Zugriffen auf andere Geräte oder NAS-Speicher war es halt etwas langsamer als das technisch mögliche, aber zum Arbeiten habe ich sowieso ein LAN-Anschluss verwendet.
Selbst ein Fernseher konnte darüber streamen.
Besser ist aber i.d.R. ein Access-Point, der über ein LAN-Kabel an den Router angeschlossen ist.
Da muss eben ein wenig Überzeugungsarbeit in der Familie geleistet werden und dann kann auch gebohrt werden!
Zum Testen gibt es gebrauchte Repeater günstig bei ebay oder ebay-kleinanzeigen.
