The hotspot sucks so hard! It is the worst internet I've ever used, it is extremely unstable and disconnects all the time, the matter is I cannot even get back online for a couple of minutes, the longest record is 1 hour! I don't understand why you would sell such a terrible product? Any German hi-tech or something? I see none.

Do you mean "Magenta Schnellstart" or what else are you talking about?

Give more information on your devices, connections and contract to maybe make it possible for us also customers to help you.

Sorry. I just got so mad after got disconnected for many times in a row while having a raid in an online game.
I'm using a Telekom_FON hotspot in Berlin, bought a monthly pass. The internet is bearable for most of the time, I mean it is not stable, just bearable. Today it just sucks. The internet kept disconnecting for so many times during the evening and night. Guess I won't buy another pass for it.

I think you cannot expect great stability when using Telekom_FON. These are connections to routers in your neighborhood where Telekom customers offer free access to the internet. Their own data transfers have a higher priority and whenever someone restarts his line or router you will also loose connection.

So in summary you should not be surprised if this is not very stable.

Is that how TelekomFON works? Cuz I did not know at all until now. Well that makes sense. I thought it was sort of decent paid public hotspot. It doesn't worth the money then.Thanks for the info tho. Good night mate.

there are in principle two different possibilities for connections with the hotspot pass. There are „real“ Telekom hotspots that should be stable and reliable. And in addition there are these other connections with Telekom_FON offered by private people with the extra bandwidth and completely separated from their own network. I really like this idea because it brings WLAN also to very unusual places. I could for example connect to such WLAN even in the basement of friends with my mobile phone - no need to ask anyone for any keys or so.

The answer from @Coole Katze is correct.
Unfortunately I cannot influence the connection to a FON-Hotsport.
