Magenta S bringt nur 40% Leistung

Seit gestern wurde mein Tarif von Surf&Call auf Magenta S umgestellt. Damit verbunden war die Ankündigung, dass bis zu 16 MB im Download verfügbar sein. Gemessen erreicht werden gerade Mal 6,5 MB, was nur 40% der Leistung sind. Der Router ist Modell W 723 V Typ B. Was ist zu tun, um hier eine vernünftige Leistung zu erreichen, die wenigstens 10 MB sein müsste?

    Vielen Dank für die Hinweise. In der Auftragsbestätigung ist keine Leistung angegeben. Es wurde nur der vereinbarte Tarif genannt. Im Setup des Speedport ist angegeben DSL Downstream 8115 kBit/sec. und Upstream 2115kBit/ sec. Damit liegt das gemessene Ergebnis wohl im Rahmen dessen was wohl technisch möglich ist. Aber weit ab von 16000 kBit/sec. Wäre ein Austausch des Routers

    gegen ein neueres Modell eine Lösung ?

    Jetzt habe ich den "Fehler" entdeckt. Zwischen dem Angebot für meinen Anschluss und der Realität durch technische Unmöglichkeit nach Abschluss des Vertrages ergibt sich ein erheblicher Unterschied. angekündigt wird das Maximum von bis zu 16000 kBit und geliefert wird zum gleichen Preis max. 6016 kBit. Und alles zum gleichen Preis. So produziert man dann sehenden Auges Kundenzufriedenheit im großen Stil.

     

    Allen, die mir geholfen haben diesen Unterschied zwischen Wunsch und Wirklichkeit des Leistungsangebotes der Deutschen Telekom zu entschlüsseln sage ich recht herzlichen Dank dafür.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator


We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
