I am moving to a new (to me, not new building) apartment in a couple of weeks and the availability checker suggests that I can order up to 250Mbs, however on checking the order I received a call saying that at my specific apartment only 16Mbs connection is available. I work from home so I cancelled the order. The apartment is currently undergoing renovations and I've been assured that the DSL connection will be upgraded, but not when it will be completed. Assumedly before 18/11/21 when I will be able to move in.
My question is - at what point will the upgraded connection be recognised so I can order a faster plan? Do I need to organise a technician to come out and inspect? Am I able to provision the slower speed now and upgrade the plan later? I don't really want to wait until I move in to find out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ich ziehe in ein paar Wochen in eine neue Wohnung, und die Verfügbarkeitsprüfung zeigt an, dass ich bis zu 250 MBit/s bestellen kann. Als ich jedoch nachsah, erhielt ich einen Anruf, dass in meiner Wohnung nur 16 MBit/s verfügbar sind. Da ich von zu Hause aus arbeite, habe ich die Bestellung storniert. Die Wohnung wird derzeit renoviert, und man hat mir versichert, dass der DSL-Anschluss aufgerüstet wird, aber nicht, wann dies geschehen wird. Voraussichtlich vor dem 18/11/21, wenn ich einziehen kann.
Meine Frage lautet: Wann wird der aufgerüstete Anschluss anerkannt, so dass ich einen schnelleren Tarif bestellen kann? Muss ich einen Techniker organisieren, der den Anschluss überprüft? Kann ich die langsamere Geschwindigkeit jetzt bestellen und den Tarif später aufrüsten?  Ich möchte nicht wirklich warten, bis ich einziehe, um es herauszufinden. Jede Hilfe wäre mir sehr willkommen!
