Returning a router

I would like to cancel my telekom landline contract and return my router in the next week as I am leaving the country. Nobody speaks English when I call and I am unable to get any help. My landline number is not on the app as I also have a telekom mobile number. I want to end all contracts before the end of November so I am no longer changed. Can anybody help?

I have a notification along with my abmeldung and end of contract of employment to cancel telekom where I read that it can be done within 2 weeks. But they still told me my contract will be cancelled by the date I want but I will be billed after that !!!

A registration certificate from the foreign place of residence must be presented.
If the contract is not older than 24 months, it can be terminated with three months' notice to the end of the month.
The laws will change from December 1st, 2021, from then on the deadline will be only one month.
So nothing works as of "the end of November". It makes sense to wait until December 1st.. Then cancel and it will end at the end of December, otherwise it will take until February 28th, 2022
The device can be returned at any time.

THanks so much. I can email you the details if you like. Calling telekom always puts me in touch with only german speakers and its difficult to explain this to them.

Fill in the fields on that Profilside:
https://telekomhilft.telekom.de/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:telekom-custom-user-profile-userdata
And safe ("... sichern") the dates you wrote there (speichern).
In field Handy-Nummer it should be a Telefonnumber (Handy or Festnetz), with that the Teamies (Telekom hilft Team) can reach you better/best.
And fill Kundennummer. If there are more Kundennummern (not only one) please note one in "Kundennummer" and the rest in "Weitere Informationen".
Only you and the Telekom hilft Team can read there.

I can send you a return label by email, that's no problem. We just have to talk first to make sure you're really the owner of the contract.

she worked yesterday in the latest working shift. So it can be she is today again in the latest one and now not at work (later at work).
