Speedport 7 - updated for Local config

vor 3 Stunden

I have unfortunately purchased a Speedport 7 on a new Telekom connection.

This is the first modem/router ever that I cannot configure even though I purchased it...

I have recently moved to Germany and I cant install the Telekom Magenta app because google store "not available in this country".

This is so absurd.

Is there a way to get a refund on the modem? I will just purchase any other one.

Is there any way to get a firmware update to be able to control it.

This is absolutely ridiculous that you have to configure it via a mobile App.

What if I dont even want to use Wifi and just have cables with PC??? This was never advertised as such.

I have a german sim. The issue is with Google play store and I am in a Google family group, which is purchased in Australia etc.. So its more a google play store thing, regardless of having a german sim.

I am going to return the Router regardless. I really hate having to have a mobile app anyways to configure a router, which has been around for decades this way and don't want Telekom to control it. I understand its good for people who are less Tech savvy, sure. But doesnt mean it has to be completely cut off from people who want to control it without Telekom having full control over something, which should be mine.

Thanks all for the help, appreciate it.

am Speedport 7 gibt es nicht viel einzustellen, auch mit der App, da ist der bessere Weg den zurückzugeben
