Speedport Pro Plus restarting randomly

Hi,
I am a new customer and have rented a Speedport Pro Plus. It's been just a few days since my connection was set up and I have a problem: the Speedport Pro Plus router keeps restarting multiple times during the day. The restarts are totally random. Sometimes during the day, sometimes in the evening. It is very annoying because each restart takes at least 5 minutes for the device to be back online.
I checked the firmware on speedport.ip and it is the latest one:
Is my device defective? What can I do about it?

The router is defective, another user had the same problem with the Speedport Pro:

Did you rent or buy the Speedport Pro Plus?

It's still valid but not for much longer as we're getting fiber here. The Pro Plus will soon be replaced by a FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber. For VDSL I'd recommend the 7590. If you'd rather keep using a Telekom branded device I'd recommend the Smart 4. It's superior to the Pro Plus in almost every way, however it lacks the LTE functionality (so does the FRITZ!Box btw).

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I will ever use LTE functionality. Let me try to replace it with Smart 4.

I did a factory reset 2 days ago and haven't seen the issue since then. I will be monitoring it over the next few days and will update the situation here.

Question: at what intervals do the restarts take place?
The code "B102" should be noted in the log file; in my case the reboots are always offset by 1:36:55

sorry for the late response.
I am very sorry to hear about this type of issue. 😥
How is your current status? Did a technician come around?
Your device is compatible with fiber and your landline.
Why did the exchange don't work yet? Is there something wrong?
Have you already reported your issue over here?
If nothing works out, I can take a further look in to this and check your router and landline at the same time.
Please let me know which time-frame do you prefer for a call.

Hey @Christina P. thanks for the response.
A technician came on 12.09.2022 and told that the device must be replaced and he also said I will get a package in two days at most but nothing happened later. I didn't get any package or a message saying that.
I am available for a call any time during the day.

sorry that you haven't received a new router yet.
Yesterday the new device was sent out.
So it should arrive soon.
