SPEEDPORT SMART 4 TYP A

Hi, habe Probleme mit einem alten Notebook Lenovo ThinkPad- dieses findet kein WLAN zum SPEEDPORT SMART 4 TYP A Router (mit meinem alten Router Speedport W724 gab es keine Probleme). Meine anderen Endgeräte Mac, iPhone, iPad .... finden den Router.

    Stell mal die Verschlüsselung im Smart 4 von WPA 3 auf WPA2. Einige ältere Geräte haben mit WPA3 Probleme

    Wie lautet die genaue Bezeichnung deines ThinkPads, welches Betriebssystem läuft darauf?

     

    Erkennt der Laptop das Funknetz, kann sich aber nicht anmelden? Oder „sieht“ er das WLAN erst gar nicht?

    Das Funknetz wird nicht aufgeführt. Windows 10-Lenovo T520

    Das Laptop kann also bis zu 13 Jahre alt sein - u.U. ist die WLAN-Karte  kaputt gegangen.

     

    Um das auszuschließen, kannst Du auch am Smart 4 die WLAN-Verschlüsselung vorübergehend

    komplett ausschalten, um festzustellen, ob das T320 dann die SSID des Smart 4 "sieht".

     

    Wurde der Treiber der Lenovo-WLAN-Karte aktualisiert? - Wenn ja, welche WLAN-Karte ist verbaut,

    welche Treiberversion installiert?

     

    Hast Du schon im Geräte-Manager geprüft, ob der PC die WLAN-Karte deaktiviert hat? - Passiert meist

    bei aktivierter Energiesparschaltung?
