I was able to setup an external router (Cisco RV320) with a Zyxel Speedlink 5501 modem, by:

#1 Set invalid PPPoE settings on the modem

#2 Enabling PPPoE passthrough with VLAN 7 tagging

#3 Using the PPPoE settings on the Cisco router: Username = "Anschlusskennung + Zugangsnummer + # + Mitbenutzernummer + @wafel"

But by doing this I cannot use the included telephony system anymore.  

I searched for Speedlink 5501 transparent mode, but I couldn't find anything useful. 

So I imagine some possibilities bellow, but I'm not finding answers. I also couldn't find much information about how this telephony system works.

1) Is it possible to use some other equipment to be able to use the telephony and an external router? How?

2) Is it possible to use analog telephony, that works without the need of PPPoE? How?

3) Is it possible to use just software? How?

Could someone please help?
