Ich möchte meine Prepaid-Sim in eine esim umwandeln.

Ich habe meine Prepaid-Sim-Karte am 08. Oktober 2022 gekauft. Ich verwende sie in meinem Telefon "Google Pixel 4a", das auch einen esim-fähigen Steckplatz hat.
Ich möchte diese physische Prepaid-Sim-Karte in esim umwandeln. Bitte helfen Sie mir.

Zu Ihrer Information, ich weiß nicht, Deutsch und mit Übersetzer beim Schreiben dieser E-Mail / Post.

You got a new smartphone and now you want to switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM? To do this, you must transfer your contract data from the physical SIM card to the eSIM access profile. You can do this yourself in the customer center in just a few minutes. Good to know: These instructions apply to prepaid and contract cards.

Log into the customer center and first select the relevant mobile phone contract or prepaid card.

Then navigate to the area: "My SIM cards" and click on "Settings".

Confirm the displayed security check by entering the activation code that was sent to the cell phone number in question.

In the following window, select "Replace SIM card" and finally get to the "Card selection" for the relevant contract. Now select the point: "Change SIM card type".

Now select the type of provision of your eSIM profile, via eSIM direct (32-digit eID) or via activation code (QR code in the customer center)

If you opt for eSIM direct, entering your eID will link your smartphone directly to the eSIM card profile. The activation code is displayed in the customer center shortly after the order is placed and is protected by a one-time password ( mTAN ). Now you can use the eSIM in your new device.

Yesterday, I used Telekom chat and chose an option of Telekom team to call me and the person on call was very friendly and could speak English.
He initiated the eSim switch for me, i recieved the confirmation via message when I was still on call. As informed by him "activation code" link was available within 15 minutes.
Thereafter, I followed your instructions and used the QR code option and could switch to eSIM within 2 minutes.

The eSim is working just fine
