Neuen Teilnehmer bei WhattsApp anlegen

Hallo Leute

Ich benutze ein iPhone 5S unter iOS 10.3.2 und habe in meinen Kontakten einen neuen Kontakt, der auch WhattsApp nutzt, mit seiner Handy-Nr. angelegt.

Leider finde ich den neuen Kontakt nicht unter WhattsApp, obwohl WhattsApp Zugriff auf meine Kontakte hat.

Was mache ich falsch???
