Question about fair use for EU roaming

Hello,

I would like to ask if there is a fair use for the EU roaming use for business mobile contracts.

I currently have a consumer mobile contract on my mobile contract, but I am thinking of converting.

I know that there are some limitations/extra charges in terms of "fair use" for consuming too much of talk time/sms/data or be outside of Germany for more than 4 months, but I was wondering if there is the same term of use for the business ones.

Thanks!

The short answer is "yes"  (the long answer you will find via the previous answer given by @Has )

So in case someone stays more than 4 months in a EU country or consumes more than the "fair use" terms are there available packages that someone can buy to not pay extra or per minute/sms/GB?

      Hello @und3rd06012,

You generally have a few options to avoid extra charges or paying per minute/SMS/GB:

      1. Local SIM Card: Purchasing a local SIM card in the country where you're staying can be a cost-effective solution. Local telecom providers often offer various prepaid or postpaid plans that include data, calls, and texts at local rates.
      2. Switching to a Local Plan: If you're planning to stay long-term, it might be worth looking into switching your mobile plan to a local provider in the country you're staying. This way, you can benefit from local rates.
      3. Wi-Fi Usage: Whenever possible, use Wi-Fi for internet access to reduce your data consumption. Many places like cafés, hotels, and public areas offer free Wi-Fi. Fröhlich

Hi Anna! Thanks for the reply. I am asking if there are any extra packages that Telekom offers if case someone exceeds the 4 month period to avoid paying extra per minute/sms/GB due to "fair use" policies.
