Telekom_Fon Problems

This is the worst internet I’ve ever used. I’ve just moved to my new apartment and while waiting for the WiFi box, I had to have internet since I am working from home. I paid 20 EURO for 1 WEEK which doesn’t even properly work. This is such a SCAM. It keeps disconnecting and I can’t do my job! Seriously, give my money back.

Muss auch sagen, einfach zu erwarten dass Dinge, für die Geld verlangt wird, auch funktionieren, das geht ja gar nicht!

Du kannst dann ja sicherlich die Stelle zeigen an welcher die Telekom einen unterbrechungsfreien Internetzugang über ihre Hotspots zusichert.

You should know that Telekom_FON Hotspots aren‘t official Telekom Hotspots. They are provided by Telekom customers and so they are unreliable (if the customer uses all the speed there‘s nothing left for the hotspot).
You can‘t work over a hotspot, they aren‘t intended for something like that (they even should block many ports).
Also it‘s cheaper to buy a prepaid SIM from a Telekom store which already has a hotspot flat included (and 1.5GB of 4G + data) for 9.95€/4weeks. Just so you know.
I doubt you get a refund. But maybe a Telekom employee can do something for you.

I had to have internet since I am working from home.
Possibly you have to use a VPN for your home office activity.
However Telekom_FON itself uses already VPN technology - and double VPN is kind of famous for problems.
Does "normal" internet access work properly?
