Hallo, zusammen,
nur damit keiner ständig auf die Telekom schimpft, die 'plötzlich' auf aktuelle Plattformen ( Hardware / Software) setzt.....
Betrifft vor allem End-of-Support alter Versionen von MS Offis, MacOS, IOS, Windows.

Wir deaktivieren den unverschlüsselten Zugriff sowie TLS 1.0 und TLS 1.1 für POP3, IMAP und SMTP

Hallo xxxxxxx,

eines oder mehrere Ihrer Geräte oder E-Mail-Programme greift aktuell unverschlüsselt oder über die veralteten Verschlüsselungsprotokolle TLS 1.0 und TLS 1.1 auf unsere E-Mail-Server zu. Das entspricht nicht mehr den aktuellen Sicherheitsstandards.

Es handelt sich hierbei entweder um einen Zugriff per SMTP (Versand von E-Mails) oder um den Abruf über POP3/IMAP (Empfang von E-Mails).

Zum Schutz Ihrer E-Mail-Kommunikation werden wir diese Zugriffe auf unsere E-Mail-Server zwischen dem 25.04.2023 und 16.05.2023 dauerhaft deaktivieren.

Was bedeutet das für Sie?

Für die folgenden E-Mail-Postfächer besteht Handlungsbedarf, da in der Vergangenheit unverschlüsselt auf sie zugegriffen wurde:

Bitte stellen Sie bis zum 25.04.2023 sicher, dass in Ihrem Gerät oder Programm die Verschlüsselung (SSL/TLS) aktiviert ist.

Wie Sie die Einstellungen für gängige E-Mail-Programme anpassen, haben wir im IONOS Hilfe-Center für Sie zusammengefasst.

Damit die Übertragung von E-Mails zwischen Ihrem Gerät oder Programm und unseren E-Mail-Servern nach der Deaktivierung weiterhin funktioniert, muss dieses TLS 1.2 oder höher unterstützen.

Informieren Sie sich in der Dokumentation Ihres Geräts oder Programms, ab welcher Version TLS 1.2 unterstützt wird und führen Sie bis zum 25.04.2023 ggfs. ein Software-Update durch.

Folgende Geräte oder Programme können von der Deaktivierung betroffen sein:

•Externe E-Mail-Programme, wie z.B. Outlook, Thunderbird oder vorinstallierte Apps, in denen Sie Ihr E-Mail-Postfach eingerichtet haben

•E-Mail-Accounts anderer Anbieter, in die Sie Ihr E-Mail-Postfach eingebunden haben

•Webcams, Drucker oder Router, die E-Mails über die IONOS E-Mail-Server versenden

Leiten Sie diese E-Mail bei Bedarf an die Nutzer der Postfächer oder den Verantwortlichen für Ihre E-Mail Administration weiter.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator


We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
