iMail funktioniert nach Downgrade nicht mehr

Nachdem ich von Catalina nochmal zu Mojave gewechselt bin kann ich mit dem Appleprogramm Mail nicht mehr auf meine eMailszugreifen. Mit anderen Programmen schon. Warum ist das so? Vielleicht hat jemand einen Vorschlag.

An dieser Stelle (siehe Foto) geht es nicht mehr weiter.

      Nach Rücksprache mit Apple habe ich einen neuen Benutzer angelegt und nun funktioniert alles wie bisher. Warum keine Ahnung.

      Vieleicht weis jemand von Apple darüber Bescheid.
