bintec RS232b möglich bei IP-basiertem Anschluss?

Hallo zusammen,

 

bin im Besitz eines bintec RS232b-Routers unbekannten Alters und stelle mir die Frage, ob dieser bzgl. der kommenden Umstellung auf den IP-basierten Anschluss weiterbenutzt werden kann.

Telefonie ist kein Thema, dies wird schon über eine Telefonanlage via SIP-Provider abgewickelt.

 

Leider ist der After-Sales-Service bei bintec offensichtlich sehr schwach.. auf der Homepage erhält man auch keinerlei Infos mehr zu meinem Router. Würde mich sehr über eure Hilfe freuen.. würde nur ungerne am Tag der Umstellung plötzlich ohne Internet dastehen.

    Allgemein: Nein.

     

    Der kann zwar im Einzelfall kurzfristig am DSL noch funktionieren aber mittelfristig garantiert nicht:

    - das eingebaute Modem kann kein Annex J (das ist aber die Zukunft im Bereich bis 16 Mbit/s)

    - es kann auch kein VDSL

     

    D.h. probieren... möglicherweise hast Du auch eine Auftragsbestätigung aus welcher Details hervorgehen.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
