change provider for prepaid SIM card

Hello
I have a prepaid SIM card from Telekom provider. Now I want to switch to another provider ( O2) with the same cell phone number. Would you please let me know how shoul I do?
Unfortunately, I don't know German language.

Visit an O2 service point or their website and order a new plan. You will be asked if you want to get a new number or transfer an existing one. You do not need to cancel your Telekom plan as they will do it for you. Make sure you're signing up with the exact same name you are using with your current plan.

Yes, I told them that I want to cancel the previous plan (Telekom) meanwhile I want to keep my number. So do you have any suggestions? Is there something that needs to be done from my side?

What I said. Normally you'd have the option to let them cancel the plan for you, but since it seems they did not, you will have to do it yourself and tell Telekom that you agree to have your number transfered to O2 immediately. Number transfers are always a bit of a hassle because of all the idiots employed by the telephone companies.
Call 2202 from your mobile or 0800 33 02202 from a landline and tell them about it.
