Contract change to Business, Upgrade and more...

vor 4 Jahren

Hello

I have a few questions regarding my contract and if is possible to move/upgrade to a business contract.
Currently I have (as a Private Customer)

- Mobile Contract: Magenta L + Galaxy S20+.
- MagentaXL (175mbps) + MagentaTV + BigTV Package.

So, if I register as a freelancer, can I switch or take over my contract as Business? Reason I'm asking comes to some very specific things.
- I'm running my own server with several services for private use, but I need this to be reliable. For this I need an Static IP. I know I can configure DDNS services, but equally some apps require an Static IP so I can whitelist access and improve privacy.
- If service goes down, I need a speedy fix, not 3 or 4 days appointments.

Since for Private/Home Customers, Fixed IP isn't an option, no even as an add-on, my only solution is to move to Business contract. I'm pretty happy with the service, so moving to another Provider is out of the scope.

Now my questions:

- Can I combine both contracts, so I can enjoy MagentaEins?
- What would happen to my TV Service? I've read there's no TV service for Business Tariffs.
- Do you need some special paperwork from my side?
- Would speed be the same? I'm being charged for 250mbps but getting 175mbps.
- Do I require a new appointment to get the installation or the current one works?

If all of the above is a no, then I've got a few requirements, in order to improve the current service.
- See if a potential speed increase is possible for my address.
- Does the new MagentaTV Smart with NowTV includes the app usage? Can I upgrade to that one? I've had my contract since August last year.
- Would this increase the price of my bill?

Sorry for making this it so long but is better to clarify all questions in just one place. Fröhlich

      @Leon_Panda,

      thank you for the call.
We can offer you a static IP but only if you:
A: decide to sign a new contract, specifically designed for business applications.
or B: decide to switch your current Contract, which would automatically remove Magenta TV.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

      Kind regards Nico B.

      Hello Fröhlich

      Thanks for the phone call.

So, switching the contract requires me to provide the Freelance paperwork?

And even so, I can switch it even though I have a running contract with Magenta Service?

      @Leon_Panda,

you don't have to provide anything for the tariff itself.
And yes, you can switch it even though you have a running contract.

      Kind regards Nico B.

I'd appreciate an answer for the question. Even a no, we can't do it now works. But ignoring customers is utterly rude.

      Hi @Leon_Panda,

I'm sorry that you haven't received any reply yet. Unfortunately, we have very few Englisch agents around at the moment, and Nico isn't around right now.

      So now for your questions:
      1. You don't need new credentials in January, the ones we have will be finde anyways.
      2. The receiver normally has a minimum contract term of 12 months, please contact us to make sure we can refund you the contract fee for the early cancelation.
      3. In this constellation, keeping the combination is not possible. (Please excuse the notice about "being linked as a solution" I did a wrong click, I'm sorry. Contracts with business-signs on the landline-side have no excuse for private customers' credentials on the mobile phone's side. It needs a combination of a mobile AND landline business tariff to remain valid for the MagentaEINS-service.
      4. Please note all the conditions about DeutschlandLAN over here: https://geschaeftskunden.telekom.de/internet-dsl/tarife/festnetz-internet-dsl
      5. Fixed IP is included in that price of course.
      6. No, MagentaTV is not included in DeutschlandLAN business customer service But you will be able to book anothr MagentaTV-Service as a standalone-contract.
Your contract running time will restart for a period of 24 months, you'r right.

      Kind regards
      Anna Si.

      Hello.

      Many thanks for the answer.

      - Ok! Cool. I'm back next week to Berlin so having new credentials wouldn't be an issue.

      - How can I confirm the Receiver issue? Is that something that you can check from your side?

      - Are you Sure about MagentaEINS? Nico Mentioned over the phone that both accounts would be eligible for the discount.

      - I checked the conditions. Nothing out of this World I think. Unless I'm missing something important.

      - About the IP, great!

      - About Magenta. It's fine, I can just book the App and use it with my AndroidTV.

How can I make the change? any special link? Thanks!
