DSL Start Date

Dear community,

I apologize for writing in English. unfortunately my German is not great.

 

I switched from Vodafone to Telekom after the end of Vodafone contract. However, I had cancelled my Vodafone contract. My contract with Vodafone ends on 13.08.2024. During the signing contract process, I had all the information including my DSL number added to the information. I also uploaded the contract cancellation document for smooth transition.

 

Today, I received a text message that my Telekom connection will be setup on 26.08.2024. I was hoping for a earlier setup as internet as home is important for me and my family. Is there anything that could be done so that I can have internet earlier.

      You have already filled out your profiled so the Telekom team here can contact you. They do speak English.

      Sometimes it takes a little while until they come to a specific thread here. You could already provide time slots that are good for a call - ideally large time slots. You can post the time slots here but please do not post personal information.

      I just talked to my colleague about your matter. Fröhlich

      As I told you, you will keep the connection with Vodafone until the end of August. They will deactivate the connection after our activation, so you won't have a disconnection for a long time. 

      About the router and the cancellation of the contract with Vodafone, you should receive new information within the next days from them.

      Otherwise, you can contact Vodafone and ask them for a new confirmation.

      Thank you for your response and help. I appreciate it.

       

      I have not heard anything from Vodafone yet and the contract date remains the same in my account. I will try to get a hold of Vodafone and hopefully they can clarify this. I guess that is all I can do.
