(English Support) Wifi

Do i need to mention that i live in a building? Since i don't have any room number just street name and street number so i am not sure how they will send the wifi connection in my room.  

I dont want to mess with the wifi connection of my neighbors so please let me know if I should contact telekom service center and inform them about this situation.

I received the letter and it has been mentioned that they will start the connection tomorrow and no technical person will be coming.

      I do not really understand what you are talking about and what situation you want to inform the service center about.

      Please correct me if I am wrong:

       

      1) You have ordered a landline and internet contract at Telekom

      2) This should be active starting tommorow

       

      If this is correct then:

       

      3) Get an internet router such as speedport smart 4 from Telekom (you have to buy or rent)

      4) Plug this router into your landline plug in your room / flat

      5) Configure your Wifi access according to your needs in that internet router

       

      Just to clarify: Telekom will not send Wifi signals to your room/flat.

       

      If you have any problems with one of these steps please come back here or contact the Telekom hotline.

      It's possible the previous owner was known. Is the Internet connection working or was the activation successful? If not, I’ll check it again 👍🏽
