Fiber optics contract is absent in customer portal

vor 11 Monaten

Good day

Yesterday I have successfully activated newly setup fiber optics connection.

But in my customer portal I have no option to review my contract, even customer ID is blank. And there is no option to add it via order ID or anything like that, just a mobile and landline contracts may be added. Am I doing something wrong here, how can I manage my contract via customer portal?

Additionally, in order to connect my router to the telecom fiber optics modem I found that I needed custom login and password for PPPoE connection setup, which is like AnschlusskennungZugangsnummer#Mitbenutzernummer@t-online.de and a password is the same as in customer portal, I assume? (Too bad that this information is not available directly in help topics, but only via search over forum.) Is this details can be found in the properties of my contract at the customer portal (which is not available at the moment for me)?

Thanks in advance

    Hey @minolan85,

thanks for reaching out to us.

For adding your fiber contract you need to choose the option "landline plan" because a fiber contract is also a landline plan.

If adding your contract won't work, please try to follow this way of registration from the beginning.

Due to the process of connection there should be delivered a detailed information about how to get your fiber plan started. Didn't you receive that one?

    Best regards

    Thanks for the reply.

Upon finishing the setup on site I received a SMS with link to connection activation which was done successfully.

Apart from that I've only got an order confirmation with Kundennummer and Auftragsnummer on email and that's all. I've tried both as a Festnetz-Nummer on adding a landline contract page, but apparently they are not the one required. I did not tried Glasfaser-ID thou yet.

But from that you are saying it looks like I'm did not get another email from telecom with my contract details, am I right?

In case of a new contract it is not necessary to fill in your credentials. As a default „Auto login is enabled“, just leave PPPoE User and pass blank for any router or choose Telekom Automatisch for Speedport and Fritzbox. If your router requires User/Pass for PPPoE you may choose anything like 123.

For establishing a connection the PPPoE Interface needs a Vlan Tag with Is 7. Speedport and Fritzbox do this automatically.

PPPoE works after having enabled the Fiber Line with the activation link, not before.

    Good morning @minolan85,

you should have received an order confirmation by e-mail at the beginning.

In it there is a magenta-colored button with the inscription "Glasfaser-Portal" above which you can see the current status. However, if you now want to manage your contract in the customer center, you can download the "MeinMagenta" app.

To register, scroll down to the bottom of the home page and add your contract. 😊

    Kind regards
    Christina P.
