Glasfaser und Netgear
Hi,
I just moved to Germany and brought my Nighthawk Router with me.
I could not configure it to connect to the modem (fiber), and IT refuses to help, stating I need a new router...
Can I use my Netgear router (as a master router)?
Thanks,

It's Nighthawk X8.
Yes, I've configured it for pppoe, with the user/pass.
What do you mean vlan I'd 7? Where can I set it?

VLAN configuration for internet access does not seem to be mentioned in the downloadable user manual for the Nighthawk X8, but there is a knowledgebase article on the Netgear website dealing with the topic.
