Glass Fiber ID Incorrect

Hello,
I recently had Glasfaser installed in my residence and have not been able to get it to work due to an incorrect Glasfaser-ID on the box. I have tried to call the fiber hotline but unfortunately due to a mixture of my poor German and other complications, I am unable to get the issue resolved.
I am stuck at the very first step attempting to register my modem + id via the link (https://glasfaser.telekom.de/modem-ib/registration) sent to my email after the initial install. I am able to enter my modem number, but on the next screen it says my fiber ID of 072GXLT is invalid. Further complicating matters my telecommunications provider is 1&1 but the infrastructure provider is Telekom. As such I don't have a customer number with Telekom when I call the support line, only the order number and reference number generated when 1&1 contracted out the actual installation. Or should I be providing my 1&1 customer #?
Can someone help me figure out what the correct ID is or how to get it without having a customer #? Or is this purely a 1&1 problem?

Please contact 1&1, as they are your service provider. They should address issues for you and, if necessary, get in touch with Telekom. Telekom itself cannot speak with you directly as you are not their customer.

1&1 has been unhelpful for some time but the issue was just resolved. I blindly tried variations of my fiber Glasfaser-ID and turns out the one on the label has a typo in it.
