Payment method ADSL

vor einem Jahr

I have a landline Internet (ADSL + router rental). Now debits are made directly from the account. I want to change the payment method to another (via PayPal or another available one). There is no option to change the payment method in your personal account. How does the process of changing the payment method work?

      Dear @Kirill1 ,

Direct debit is the correct payment method.

      Have a nice day!

      Dear @Lichtmast

I didn't ask which method is correct. I asked how to change it to a more adequate one.

For Telekom the adequate one is via SEPA.

Fallback (if SEPA fails) is that you initiate a money transfer "Überweisung" from your "Girokonto".

You cannot change to Paypal or other stuff.

Where is the correlation between IT and payment?

And SEPA is a european-wide method.

Correct. IT development at a high security standard via SEPA.

While for sure I see improvement potential for digitalisation in Germany, I guess that the reason why Telekom offers Paypal for several areas but not for the payment of monthly fees of a landline contract lies in the additional costs incurred by Paypal payments. Which is a very modern problem.

As far as I know Paypal charges 2,49% plus a fixed transaction fee of something like 35 Cent.

The level of security in SEPA is not higher compared to others.
A modern method of paying bills must include confirmation of payment from the user.
non-acceptor write-off is not very adequate.

IT systems that provide connections must have greater variability in payment for services and flexibility.
      but not in this area

      confirmation? For every single payment?

      @falk2010
