Request for installation service of the glass fiber internet

The junction box of the telekom glasfaser is at the entrance of my apartment, there is no power plug option or space for the modem there. I need some cable extension to my living room where my current vodafone kabel router is kept.  My current contract with vodafone broadband is ending on 28.04 2024. I have not got any email regarding the installation service. Actually there are many apartments in my building and many of us who are shifting their service from vodafone to telekon glassfiber connection will need the same service as all of us has the glass fiber connection only till the entrance of our apartments.

      Hello.
      Either you can book this service: https://www.telekom.de/zuhause/tarife-und-optionen/zubuchoptionen/installation-glasfaser
      or you can buy yourself a fiber optic cable, plug it into the fiber box and then in your router and you can lay the cable by yourself:

      Can I use this 1&1 glasfaser Netzanchlussgerät instead of Telekom Glasfaser Modem2? My Telekom Glasfaser contract starts on April 2025. I am changing from vodafone kabel to Telekom glasfaser and would like if I can buy this cheap device?

      The Telekom Glasfaser Modem 2 is specifically designed for Telekom's fiber optic connections and includes features such as a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and centralized firmware updates managed by Telekom. If you choose to use a third-party modem, you may need to manually configure it and ensure it meets all technical requirements. It is also worth noting that using a non-Telekom modem might limit the support you can receive from Telekom in case of technical issues.
