Speed Port Router WiFi is not detected

Good afternoon,
I have a problem with my WiFi. I’m using the speed port router (the black tall one).
On the router it shows green light and also the WiFi icon also shows green light. However, my phone cannot seem to detect the WiFi or any of the devices available in my home.
I have tried to restart, unplug and plug again the cable etc but nothing works.
It worked fine last night but this morning when I woke up it’s suddenly not working.
I tried to connect to the WiFi using the QR code which I had saved before and it says “Unable to connect”
one thing that I noticed, everytime I restart, before it shows the green light, the router shows 4 orange lights then within seconds goes to the green light. Not sure if this means something tho.
Please help.

You have tried to access the router via Ethernet cable from your desktop Computer or laptop?

I can connect with the internet via Ethernet cable directly to my laptop but I cannot find the Wi-Fi name on the wifi list.

@eop21: Okay, you are using a Speedport Pro (Plus), the right-hand model:
When the green LED lights up, the Internet connection is established. Does the WLAN button on the Pro (Plus) also light up green?
If so, you can use the Plus button to trigger a WPS process for the Wi-Fi connection; if you hold your smartphone to the NFC symbol, a Wi-Fi connection should also be established automatically if the corresponding setting is made in the smartphone.
However, you can also establish the Wi-Fi connection manually if you use the WLAN-Name ( SSID ) and the WLAN-Passwort (Wi-Fi key), which is stated at the top under the flap of the Pro (Plus).
If a device is connected to the Pro (Plus), you will find the necessary information here

The Wi-Fi icon lights up green on the router.
I have tried to manually input the SSD and the Password, but the error message appears "Could not join "WLAN-XXXX". The network could not be found.
I have tried to connect the router directly to my laptop using cable and it works perfectly, I can browse the internet. But the Wi-Fi name could not be detected on any of devices I have at home.

@eop21: Have you checked in the UI of the Pro (Plus) whether your WLAN-Name ( SSID ) is visible and is also being used?

I have checked the setting and it is Visible and also being used.
I attached the screenshot below to see if maybe I missed something too

Yes I think this is a rental device when I signed the contract.

@eop21: Okay, this is wrong! And what shows the 2.4 GHz WiFi? Please restart the Pro (Plus) using the button on the back.

I found "Reset all setting, factory setting" on the SpeedPort UI. Is that ok for me to click this button? I'm scared that this will ruin the router further.

Hi all, I just wanted to give an update that the new Router works as normal and I can see the WiFi name on my devices now.
I'd like to thank all of you for your quick responses and also support! @UlrichZ @Christina P. @Martin Bo.
One last question for me: what should I do with the broken/old router? Is there any process I need to follow?

these are excellent news.
I'm very pleased that it worked out.
The box in which the new router arrived contains a returns bill.
This is for returning the old router. You put the old router in a box of your choice and simply stick the return slip on it. 😊👍
