Speedport Smart 3

I got a new Telekom Internet connection week. The technician activated the phone line and I tried to set up the modem and it connected fine. Just an hour later the Link on Speedport Smart 3 disappeared and I am still not able to see it. Only the Status and WLAN lights are ON. All the connections are fine, tried to turn off , reset the modem. Nothing seem to work. Also, the Telephony says not active and DSL link not synchronous. Any suggestions/help on what’s wrong with the Internet.

Hi @shreyakothari01,
If the Link LED is off, there is no physical connection between your router and the Telekom-side linecard. Your wiring could be wrong, it might be a loose connection in the TAE unit or in the connection of the building.
You can perform an online check of your line and create a ticket here: https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/hilfe-bei-stoerungen/leitungspruefung
You might need help from a native German.
