Unstable glasfaser connection

Hallo,

Over the past couple weeks I have had multiple notifications from my FRITZbox that my internet has been off for more than one hour. When the internet is connected, there will be random periods where the internet will stop for a short period of time then come back. I work from home and need a stable internet connection to do zoom and teams calls.

Is there something to do to fix this?

      Hello @Baldy201

      Which Fritzbox is that?

You definitely have fiber optics? Or is it about VDSL?

You can set up a fault here: https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/hilfe-bei-stoerungen

Sounds more like DSL sync losses. Could you please log in to your Fritzbox via http://fritz.box and post a screenshot of your overview page? You might also want to check the router log for more details.

      Best wishes,

      Hi there @Baldy201,

I'm guessing you meant a "Knick" ;D but it'd be funny if the line had a kink.

Nonetheless, yes, I agree, you will need a new appointment with a technician. I'll call you tomorrow evening around 8 p.m.

      Does that work for you?

      Kind regards

      Christian H.
