Two Ranger company employees came to my house, checked the router, and took my cell phone number and account number. They obtained this information by saying that I was paying high internet bills. I'm a foreigner, and they don't speak English well, so I couldn't get a detailed explanation. I thought they were T-Mobile employees and had visited to check things like internet network inspection. However, the ID card shown was an employee of the Ranger company. I think they took my account number and signature to try to scam me or sell me some product. I do not wish to receive any services or products from them. I also don't want to charge you for an item I don't want. What should I do in this situation? If I have a contract, I would like to cancel it. Can you solve it here?

 

 

Zwei Mitarbeiter der Ranger-Firma kamen zu mir nach Hause, überprüften den Router und nahmen meine Handynummer und Kontonummer mit. Sie erhielten diese Informationen, indem sie sagten, dass ich hohe Internetrechnungen bezahle. Ich bin Ausländer und sie sprechen nicht gut Englisch, daher konnte ich keine detaillierte Erklärung bekommen. Ich dachte, es wären Mitarbeiter von T-Mobile und sie wären vorbeigekommen, um Dinge wie die Überprüfung des Internetnetzwerks zu überprüfen. Allerdings handelte es sich bei dem vorgelegten Ausweis um einen Mitarbeiter der Firma Ranger. Ich glaube, sie haben meine Kontonummer und meine Unterschrift gestohlen, um mich zu betrügen oder mir ein Produkt zu verkaufen. Ich möchte keine Dienstleistungen oder Produkte von ihnen erhalten. Ich möchte Ihnen auch keine Kosten für einen Artikel in Rechnung stellen, den ich nicht möchte. Was soll ich in dieser Situation tun? Wenn ich einen Vertrag habe, würde ich ihn gerne kündigen. Kannst du es hier lösen?

    Das waren Drücker im Auftrag der Telekom.

    Die erzählen viel, wenn der Tag lang ist und man so Verträge auf Provisionsbasis abschließen wollen.

     

    Falls was unterschrieben wurde, auf die Auftragsbestätigung der Telekom warten und die Widerrufsfrist nutzen, wenn man es dann nicht haben will.

    You’ll receive a call afterwards - don’t confirm anything and as stated before in case you’ll get an order confirmation by mail or post write to widerruf@telekom.de that you want to revoke the contract.

    fun fact:

    In Germany there is no T-Mobile.

    T-Mobile you can only find in Czech Republic, in Poland and in the U.S.A. - and these companies deal with mobile communication.

    If you put your signature then the probability is s.th. like 99% that you ordered a contract.

     

    As stated before you can use your legal right of "Widerruf" within 14 days, so watch out for any confirmation that might come via snail mail or via email.

    In order to be able to help, you'll need to fill out your user profile first. Please enter your customer ID ("Kundennummer"), a phone number via which you can be reached and a time frame during which it is convenient for you to receive a call.

    When we calls, we need to make sure that we are actually talking to you, the contract owner. For this purpose, we ask you for the last six digits of the IBAN (bank account number) from which you are paying your monthly bills.

    Hello. 

     

    I have received the letter from Telekom yesterday and I finally got to know my Kundennummer and Auftragsnummer. 

    So, I filled out my profile ;Kundennummer, Phone number as well as the last six digits of the IBAN.

    And since I cannot speak German, I also mention that I need a counselor who can speak English.

     

    Moreover, according to other person's advice, I cancelled my contract in the website below.
