Flex Contract without German adress.
Hello,
i plan to return to Germany to work as a truck driver, but i will most likely not live here for the time being, so i will not have a German adress.
Is there a way for me to use MagentaMobil XL Flex without it? Seeing as it`s a monthly cancellation plan i would think there is no risk for Telekom in any way. I am of course talking about tariff only, without mobile phone.
I could open an account in German bank if that would be required and enough, and i would of course have a legal work contract.
Thanks :)

Hello @user_3a4253
You must have a German residence and be registered. Unfortunately, if you are not a German resident, you cannot conclude a contract with Telekom
With a prepaid it might be possible.
But further problems or obstacles (teamie):
In and of itself it is not a problem to switch your contract to postpaid because it is already in effect, but here I have to point out the FairUse Policy. "If a customer spends more days in another EU country than within the country in a period of 4 months and uses more minutes, SMS or data than within the country, a roaming surcharge may be charged." That's the first problem. The second obstacle is that we no longer verify the contracts via post - but via Video-Ident. Since it is not possible to specify a contractual partner address that is outside of Germany when booking, the video identification process naturally fails immediately. Long story short, I was able to help the first user in this article because the contract is also used permanently in Germany and we could use Post-Ident, I could no longer help the second user because of the Video-Ident procedure (even if the card would be permanently booked into the German network) and now in your case I can't help either because we either don't get the card booked or the fair use policy applies after 4 months at the latest.

Hello @user_3a4253,
first of all, welcome to our community.
I'm pleased that you would like to have a mobile phone contract with us.
I will be happy to order the tariff you want for you.
This requires a personal phone call as well as bank details from the SEPA payment area and an ID document.
Please enter a callback number in your profile.
When is a phone call suitable?
I'm on duty today until 11 pm and tomorrow on Sunday from 3 pm to 11 pm.
I look forward to your feedback.
Kind regards
Kathrin

Hello Kathrin,
Thank you very much for your response. I don`t know when exactly will i be starting work and therefore need the contract. Can i get back to you via private message when that time comes?
So it is possible to do this just by having an EU citizenship and ID as well as bank account participating in SEPA?
Thanks again for your anwers.

Hello @user_3a4253,
all right, that's how we do it.
Please get in touch as soon as you know the date so that I can order the contract for you in good time.
Write to me in the community using @Kathrin W. or send me a private message by clicking on my profile picture.
You can also use a foreign ID document and a bank account from the SEPA area.
I wish you a relaxing Sunday.
